| Snowman In The Forest - An Annual Winter Celebration in Cook Forest State Park |
Because of this ...we have moved the event to the Sawmill Center of the Arts, on the Vowinckel-Cooksburg Road. We will still be having the Chili-cook off Contest, Hot Dogs, horse drawn carraige rides, Smokey the Bear, raffles, shopping at the center itself, and additional games for the kids are being planned. Dont let the lack of snow keep you from coming to Cook Forest, we are planning different and fun events for the day. Events are scheduled from 11:30 - 2:30 pm. It seems as if Mother Nature is not going to cooperate this year with our Snowman in the Forest Day that is scheduled for Saturday, February 18th. It appears as we are not going to have snow this day.
